Meet Captain Giuseppe, the 26-year-old Italian maritime maestro with a remarkable six-year captaincy under his belt. Hailing from Termoli, Italy, Giuseppe's seafaring journey commenced at the family shipyard, evolving from a pilot boat driver in Vasto to roles as sailor, Deck officer, and Master aboard passenger ships and yachts worldwide. Fluent in both Italian and English, Giuseppe is not just a captain; he's a versatile water sports enthusiast, skilled in fishing and diving.
Giuseppe's maritime expertise extends to captaining the 49m sailing yacht OHANA in France, Greece, and Italy, showcasing his prowess on a global scale. Subsequently, he commanded the 24m sailing yacht Myra for eight months, exploring the enchanting waters of the Greek Ionian Islands and Cyclades.
Beyond his professional aptitude, Giuseppe's vibrant personality and love for the sea make him a standout figure in the maritime world. With a foundation in a maritime family, diverse experiences, and a passion for the open waters, Captain Giuseppe embodies the spirit of a seasoned mariner, ready to navigate any nautical challenge with finesse and enthusiasm.
Chef: Lia Makrostergiou
Lia is a Greek chef specializing in modern, refined Greek cuisine, where tradition meets contemporary elegance. With over a decade of professional experience and as the owner of a successful restaurant focused on high-quality home-style Greek cooking, she brings both culinary excellence and heartfelt hospitality to every dining experience.
Her cuisine goes far beyond classic favorites, offering guests sophisticated, beautifully presented dishes inspired by both Greek and international flavors. Onboard, Lia is affectionately known as the “Greek mom” — always nurturing, feeding, and ensuring everyone feels genuinely cared for. She finds her greatest joy in watching guests enjoy her food, share meaningful moments, and feel truly at home at sea.
Chief Stewardess: Valentina Colleoni
Meet Valentina, the Chief Stewardess aboard Genny. With a degree in Business Economics, Foreign Trade, and Financial Marketing, coupled with a diploma in tourism, she brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her role. Valentina's background as a former maître in Italian restaurants underscores her impeccable service and hospitality skills. As a second-level sommelier, she elevates onboard dining experiences with her deep understanding of wine. Fluent in Italian, English, Spanish, and French, Valentina effortlessly bridges communication gaps to ensure seamless guest and crew interactions. Resourceful, organized, and creative, she is driven by her passion for delivering exceptional results and creating unforgettable moments for her guests. Valentina's open-mindedness and tenacity make her an invaluable asset, consistently exceeding expectations and enriching the onboard experience on Genny.

Benedetta is a motivated and reliable stewardess with a strong passion for the nautical and yachting sector, bringing both technical knowledge and refined service skills on board Genny. She holds a diploma in Transport and Logistics with specialization in ship handling and navigation, giving her a solid understanding of maritime operations, complemented by administrative and front office experience. Her ongoing advanced training as Service Manager for Yachting (Onboard Hostess & Steward) reflects her commitment to excellence in luxury hospitality. Highly organized and detail-oriented, Benedetta excels in planning, guest assistance, and delivering attentive, discreet service tailored to client needs. A natural team player with strong interpersonal skills, she contributes positively to crew dynamics while maintaining professionalism under pressure. Benedetta speaks Italian as her native language, is proficient in Italian Sign Language (LIS), has an intermediate level of English, and basic knowledge of Spanish, enabling her to assist an international clientele with warmth and efficiency.
Deckhand: Nicolò Ferrazzano
Nicolò, a proficient young mariner, holds a maritime studies degree from l’istituto nautico G. Boccardi in Termoli. With a passion for the sea, he has dedicated his career to the marine industry. Since 2020, he has served as a mooring operator at Porto Turistico in Termoli, managing boat dockings and ensuring their safety. Alongside mooring duties, Nicolò handles small vessel maintenance and winter storage at the marina. With excellent interpersonal skills, he communicates effectively with guests, crew members and owners. He is active, hard-working, professional, and adaptable to any kind of environment. Fluent in Italian, with a good command of English and Spanish, Nicolò brings a diverse linguistic skill set to his role and completes the team on board Genny.
Deckhand/ Engineer: Luigi Ferrazzano
Luigi, hailing from Italy, brings a quiet, calm, and thoughtful professionalism to his role. Renowned for his diligence, Luigi has forged a strong working bond with Captain Giuseppe and the rest of the crew aboard Genny, ensuring the yacht and its equipment maintain peak performance and perfect cleanliness. With a past in the Italian marine military division, Luigi is adapted to working in the sea. As seasoned mechanic, he relishes the challenge of solving technical issues, assist his captain with everyday routines and eagerly complies with his role as the onboard engineer. Luigi is kind and is always around to help his guests with his most contagious smiles!! He speaks Italian and basic English.
